It features a specialized three-layer construction that effectively distributes pressure and safeguards the wound from bacterial exposure. Highly absorbent, this dressing helps keep the wound site clean and dry. Tailored for individuals with sensitive or fragile skin experiencing light to moderately exuding wounds, these dressings come in various shapes and sizes. They incorporate a thinner foam core that is both conformable and comfortable, combined with a gentle silicone adhesive that minimizes pain upon removal. The foam ensures excellent flexibility, allowing the dressing to contour to the body, even in hard-to-dress areas. The Allevyn™ Gentle Border Lite also boasts triple-action technology that maintains an optimal moisture balance for wound healing, while being showerproof and easy to apply and remove. It also serves as a bacterial barrier to reduce infection risks and can be worn for up to seven days.
